미국 영주권을 취득하기 위한 다양한 방법중 가장 많이 사용되는 방법으로 EB-5 프로그램이 있습니다.
투자금액은 흔히 100만불/150만불/200만불을 투자 하지만 50만불로 가능한 경우도 있습니다.
2018년 1월 25일 기준. 미국 영주권 취득용 이민성 USCIS 허가 EB5 프로그램 적용 가능한 리저널센터는 총 1,313개입니다.

리저널 센터 파일럿 프로그램 (Regional Center Pilot Program)으로 한국에 소개된 프로그램은 투자이며 손실을 보장하지는 않습니다.
다른 업체들이 투자금 전액회수를 말하지만 시간만 끌며 사실은 영주권만 취득한 사례가 많습니다.

1. EB-5 COSTS 비용
ㅁ INVESTMENT: $500,000 투자금: 50만불
ㅁ AGENCY FEES: $50,000 (Consultant: $25,000 + Lawyer: $15,000 + Immigration agency: $10,000)
수속비용: 5만불
ㅁ US GOVERNMENT FEES:
미국 정부에 납부하는 비용
ㅡ EB5 Visa filing fee, payable to the USCIS, is $1,500 per applicant family.
미국이민국 접수비 1인당 1500불
ㅡ Fee to the NVC (National Visa Center) is $380 per family member.
미국비자센터 접수비 380불
(Only for those attending Embassy interviews) USCIS
Immigrant Fee of $165.

ㅡ Medical examinations vary from country to country, but can be about $320 for each adult and $150 for children under 15.
신체검사비는 나라마다 다르나 일반적으로 성인 320불, 15세 미만 150불 정도.
2. EB-5 Investor Visa Process 투자자 비자 진행절차
STEP 1: Investor signs the agreement with EB-5 Consultant, and pays the fee as provided in the agreement.
계약서에 투자자 서명 및 비용 지불
STEP 2: Investor signs the Retainer Agreement with the USA immigration lawyer, and pays the initial attorney's fee as provided in the agreement.
미국변호사 선임계약서 투자자 서명 및 착수금 지불
STEP 3: Investor signs the agreement with the Korean lawyer or Korean immigration agency, and pays the fee as provided in the agreement.
STEP 4: Investor fills out the immigration lawyer’s Net Worth Questionnaire.
이민변호사 사전질의서 작성
STEP 5: Investor receives Offering Memorandum from the USA investment management company, and other investment documentation for review and approval.
미국투자매니지먼트사가 발행한 각서(Memorandum) 및 증명서류 수령
STEP 6: Investor signs the subscription agreement with the USA investment management company and forwards a deposit to the USA investment management company.
투자매니지먼트사에 투자금 예치한다는 계약서 서명
STEP 7: The USA immigration lawyer sends instructions/document list to Investor, and Investor prepares and collects the requested documents and forwards all requested documentation to the immigration lawyer.
미국이민변호사가 보낸 수속서류 작성
STEP 8: The USA immigration lawyer and the investment management company together prepare the documentation and prepare the immigrant petition.
투자매니지먼트사와 이민변호사가 함께 이민청원서 작성
STEP 9: The USA immigration lawyer or the USA investment management company sends notification to the investor that Immigrant Petition is ready to be filed along with wire transfer instructions. Investor wires $500,000 to escrow account (to be held by a third party bank), and wires the balance of the USA lawyer’s fee as provided in the agreement.
이민청원서 접수준비가 되면 에스크로 계좌에 투자금 50만불 송금 및 변호사비 잔금 송금
STEP 10: The USA immigration lawyer sends all documents to the Korea lawyer or Korea immigration agency, and the Korea lawyer or Korea immigration agency assists the investor with all necessary procedures to be done in Korea.

STEP 11: The investor completes all necessary processes required to be done in Korea.
한국내 절차 완료
STEP 12: The USA immigration lawyer submits immigrant visa application to USCIS.
미국이민변호사가 이민국에 이민비자 접수
STEP 13: Investor receives temporary Green Card.
투자자 임시영주권 수령
STEP 14: The USA immigration lawyer files an application to remove conditional resident status application to the USCIS within in two years.
미국이민변호사가 이민국에 2년후 조건부 거주 해제 신청
STEP 15: Investor receives permanent Green Card.
투자자 그린카드 수령
STEP 16: After 60 months, investor may choose from one of several investment exit strategies. Please read the Subscription Agreement for more information.
60개월후(5년) 다양한 투자금 회수 방법중 한가지 선택
STEP 17: Investor is eligible for filing application for US citizenship when Investor has been a US permanent resident (green card holder) for five years.
