1. Minimum registered capital:
- for a consulting company in Guangzhou is normally RMB 100,000
- while registered capital for wholesale company with right to export and import should be at least RMB 500,000.
However, there are slight differences in different districts of Guangzhou.
2. Residence Permit in China
Any foreigners working with companies in China can apply for residence permit in China. First, we shall assist client in applying for his working permit, then to apply for his residence permit.
Documents required, for example in Guangzhou are as follows:
(1) Registration Certificate of Guangzhou Representative Office;
(2) Working Certificate;
(3) Chinese resume;
(4) passport (Original);
(5) two passport photos;
Documents needed for Application for Visa are as follows:
(1) Evidence of Residence (which can be issued by the Managing
Committee of the building the Chief Representative are living in);
(3) one passport photo of the Chief Representative;
In order to apply for the working visa, the person has to do health exam and get a health report from
Guangdong Health Care Center (广东旅行卫生保健中心）

Fees: including all expenses and government fees are RMB 2500.

Registration of Companies in China
Please note that different parts of Mainland China have different regulations concerning company registration. Also, requirements for registration of different kinds of companies are different.
Documents Needed for Registration of a Foreign-funded Company
1. Application Letter;
2. Articles of Association (investor to sign and seal);
3. Feasibility Study (investor to sign and seal);
4. Power of Attorney to the legal representative signed by the president or chairman of the investor company;
The above documents will be provided by us.
5. the Certificate of Incorporation of the investor company, which should be notarized, legalized and authenticated by the China Embassy in the investor’s country;
6. two original bank reference letters for the parent company by its bank confirming that the investor has maintained a bank account , which has been properly conducted, and specify the number of digits in its balance;
7. two originals of Lease Agreement or Deed of Property;
8. 8 photos of the legal representative
9. List of products to be imported and exported;
10. List of directors of the investor company;
11. resume of the Legal Representative of the new company; and
12. a copy of the passport of the Legal Representative of the new company.
