CHECKLIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR INCORPORATION OF Limited Liability
Required Documents/Information
1. Names of all the investors/shareholders and copies of their ID and addresses.
2. Names of the directors of the board of directors (including the person to be elected as the chairman of the board) and Supervisor(s). Note that 3 directors and 1 supervisor are required for a stock company and only 1 director is required for a limited company.
3. The proposed Chinese and English names of the company: We must first reserve the proposed Chinese name of the company to be incorporated and obtain a Business License.
4. Company's proposed scope/items of business.
5. Minimum Capitalization: NT$1,000,000 for a stock company and NT$500,000 for a limited company (which does not issue shares).

6. Certificate of Nationality for investor(s) who are natural persons and copies of their passport.
7. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration(*) for investors that are a body corporate. This document must be issued by the relevant government authority in charge of corporate registration).
8. A corporate address.
9. Powers of attorney(*) for lawyers and CPAs.
10. Payment of incorporation fees (1/4000 of authorized capital but min. NT$1,000) and business license fee (NT$1,000)
Note: (*) denotes that documents that should be notarized by a notary public and legalized by overseas Taiwan representative/consular offices
